Same $49 rung. ReelFarm will post to TikTok for you all month without asking; Topped posts to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, and only after showing you the real post the idea came from and the number it got.
Facts checked 2 August 2026
ReelFarm is a TikTok automation platform. You describe your product, it writes the opening lines and builds faceless slideshows, and its automations generate and publish to your connected TikTok accounts daily on a schedule you set. It is genuinely good at the thing it is for, and at $49 a month its Growth plan lets you connect as many TikTok accounts as you like.
Topped is aimed at a narrower person: a founder shipping an iOS app who wants to know which post is worth making before making it. Our team hand-picks a shelf of real posts that already worked, and we propose your version with the source post attached. You approve it, and it publishes to your own TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
So the two products disagree about where the effort should go. ReelFarm's answer is volume on one platform with no approval step in the loop. Ours is fewer posts, three platforms, and a reason on every card. Both are defensible; this page is about which one matches how you want to work.
ReelFarm's figures were read from their public pricing table and terms of service on 2 August 2026. The two products' credit units are not the same thing and the raw numbers are not comparable - which is why this table compares what each product publishes about its credits, not their size. Prices move; check theirs before you decide.

ReelFarm publishes to TikTok. That is not a gap in their product, it is their product - the automations, the calendar and the analytics are all built around one place. Their own site tells you to take the finished carousels to Instagram or LinkedIn manually if you want them there. For an iOS founder that means the reach you build is single-channel and the cross-posting is your afternoon. Topped publishes to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts from the same approval, and the Scoreboard reads all three. Three is also our whole list - see below.
The independent performance-marketing site ad·stack tested ReelFarm across three briefs and published the run on 19 May 2026: of 28 rendered variants, 9 were judged publishable without significant edits, and they scored the tool 2.9 out of 5, describing the output as "the same three concepts on a loop". Note they tested a $29 plan that is not in today's pricing table, so treat the figures as a dated snapshot of the practice rather than a current spec. The practice is the point: when a template engine generates and posts on a schedule, nothing in the loop can tell you which of those posts deserved to exist. Topped builds most proposals on a real post from the shelf our team hand-picks, shows you the number it got and the account it came from, and attaches a reason to every card. Fewer posts, each one something you can argue with.
ReelFarm's published plans carry two separate monthly numbers: slideshows or videos, and AI credits. What one credit buys, what a top-up costs, and what happens to whatever you did not spend by the end of the month are not stated on their pricing page or in their terms. That is common in this category and it is not a trick - but it does mean you cannot forecast the bill before you commit. Topped puts the exact credit price on every generate button before the click, publishes the whole rate card, tops up at a flat $0.02 per credit at any size, and resets the monthly grant each cycle so there is nothing to track. Content saves are the separate meter, spent once when you approve a card, and that one save covers that creative forever.
ReelFarm's terms of service are clear and worth reading rather than assuming. They say you keep rights to the content you create, with one stated exception: AI avatars made in the product join ReelFarm's shared asset library under a perpetual, worldwide license for ReelFarm and its users. Their terms also say that for images pulled into a moodboard, ReelFarm claims no ownership and cannot guarantee the copyright status, and that responsibility sits with you. Disclosed policies, plainly written - which is more than most of this category manages. They are simply worth knowing about before you build a recognisable face for your app inside a library other customers can draw from.
The strongest thing about ReelFarm is that it will run without you. The strongest thing about Topped is that it will not. Every proposal waits on the For You screen with an attribution attached, and you can throw it away for free - skips and drafts never cost a save. If what you want is a machine posting to twelve TikTok accounts while you write code, we are the wrong purchase and this page should say so.
The scan is free and takes about a minute. No card, and nothing published until you approve it.
