Genviral shows you what went viral. Topped shows you the real post it built your draft from, with the number that post actually got - and prints the exact credit price on the button before you click it.
Facts checked 2 August 2026
Genviral is a broad content studio and scheduler: a library of viral TikTok posts you can start from, a studio built on more than thirty AI models, and posting to ten platforms. Topped is narrower on purpose - three platforms, one app, and an engine that deals from a shelf our team hand-picks.
Both start at $29 a month, and the two products draw the line in different places. Genviral's $29 Creator plan connects five social accounts and does not charge credits for scheduling or publishing, so posting volume is not the thing it meters. Topped's $29 Basic connects two accounts and meters content saves at 25 a month - but includes 300 credits to Genviral's 200, and puts the real post your draft came from - with the number it got - on the card.
The clearest difference is what happens after the browsing screen. Genviral's library is filterable by engagement; its analytics track views, likes, comments, shares and engagement rate. You browse it, and then you still have to make something. Topped starts from a shelf of real posts our team hand-picks, and proposes your version of them - with the source post, its real number, and a link to it on the card before you approve anything.
The second difference is metering. Genviral publishes its rates as ranges - images "can cost between 1-3 credits", video "starts at 1-5 credits per second" - and states that credits are not carried over into the next billing period. Topped shows the exact price before the click and tops up at a flat $0.02 a credit - the same no-carryover policy on the credit grant, stated plainly on our own pricing page too.
Genviral's figures were read from their published pricing, features and terms pages on 2 August 2026. A credit is not the same unit on both products, so the credit rows compare metering policy - published rates, expiry, top-up pricing - not value for money. Prices and libraries move; check theirs before you decide.

The viral-content library is the centre of Genviral and it is a genuine asset - their features page describes searching and filtering more than 12,000 viral TikTok posts, and their site frames it as answering "what's working in my niche right now?". What a library cannot do is make anything for you. Topped comes at it from the other side: our team hand-picks a shelf of real posts that already worked, and the engine proposes your version of them - with the source post, its real number, and a link to the original on the card. You can disagree with the proposal, but you can see what it rests on.
Genviral's published analytics track followers, views, likes, comments, shares, engagement rate and top-performing posts. That is a solid dashboard and it is the same shape as every scheduler's. Topped's Scoreboard is the same honest set of real platform numbers for your own accounts, sitting next to the attribution each post was built from - so what you got is always one click from what it came from. It is included on every plan, including the free one.
Genviral's pricing page states that images "can cost between 1-3 credits" and that video "starts at 1-5 credits per second of video". Take their own published range: a ten-second clip lands somewhere between 10 and 50 credits, so the $29 plan's 200 credits buy between four and twenty of them - and which end you are at is knowable only after you generate. The same page states credits are not carried over into the next billing period, and top-ups run from $0.20 a credit for the 50-pack down to $0.09 for the 500-pack. None of that is dishonest; frontier video models really are expensive and pack pricing is normal. Topped's answer is a different policy, not a cheaper model: the exact price on the button before the click, a flat $0.02 per top-up credit whatever you buy, and the same no-carryover honesty on the monthly grant Genviral already practices.
Alongside the software, Genviral sells managed accounts - $90 a month per Android device, $120 per iPhone, on top of the subscription - and their terms make a hosted account refund-eligible if each of its first ten published posts gets fewer than 100 views. That is an unusually concrete published condition and worth reading before you buy. We do not sell that, and it is a standing decision rather than a roadmap gap: reach you rent stops when the subscription stops, and none of the audience was ever yours. If distribution rather than content is your actual bottleneck, that is a real argument for their side of the line, and we make the fuller case on our warmed-account-farms page.
One rung up, Genviral's Professional plan is $49 for 500 credits and 10 social accounts. Topped's Plus is $49 for 800 credits, 100 content saves, 10 connected accounts and 15 watched handles. The account count is the same; the credit grant is not. Their annual rung is two months free, ours is 25% off.
The scan is free and takes about a minute. No card, and nothing published until you approve it.
